My friend Sharné can skateboard. She’s really, really good! How she can balance on that thing, I’ve never understood.
ALEX
This homie’s called Alex. She’s really into art. When it comes to all that fancy stuff, I can’t tell it apart!
ASHLEY
This is my pal Ashley. She’s very, very smart. When she’s talking science, I get lost right from the start!
CARL
My buddy Carl does yoga. He can tie himself in knots. It hurts me just to look at it. Man, I would rather not!
DERRICK
This is my friend Derrick. He loves his heavy metal. I can’t stand the sound of it. It sure gets me unsettled.
HARVEY
Here’s my neighbour, Harvey. He’s into his sports teams. I don’t get the whole appeal, but look how stoked he seems!
JENNY
This is my friend, Jenny. She sure likes avocado. She really seems to love it, but it tastes like wax to me, though!
SAM
I have a friend called Sam. He’s really into fashion. Me? I’m always late with trends. I miss them when they happen.
BIG G
So what do I like doing? I like stories, told in rhyme. And all my friends know that it’s something I do all the time.
